Verify volume health Use Disk Management to make sure the status of the volumes on the disks is Healthy. Yes Dave’s bought up a good point about the Jmicron and I have made a error when I went to your motherboards site I assumed after seeing your board supported the intel cpu it was an intel chipset board but its a VIA Chipset and only has the Jmicron controller, but as you have it as IDE it depends whether you want hotswapping enabled, and as Daves unsure as to whether the fix will work so am I, but the driver is a standard driver and would probably be for all controllers – it reads in my device manager as a Standard AHCI 1.

If you are moving spanned, striped, mirrored, or RAID-5 volumes, it is highly recommended that you move all disks containing the volume together.

To use the volume, you must manually mount the volume and assign it a drive letter using Disk Management or the DiskPart and mountvol commands.
